. The hotel was fine, but if you are an early riser good luck getting coffee or anything. Starbucks not open until 7. Casino will only give you free coffee if betting $1.00 and spend $30. So I paid $4.00 for 1/2 a cup of coffee while gambling. I spent way more than $30 but apparently my minimum bet wasn’t high enough. This makes the place seem packed even when it isn't, but that provides a great atmosphere in which to play your favorite games. There is also a sportsbook and a small poker room at the Golden Nugget, along with Keno, that can be played from the cafes and some of the bars as well. Overall, this is a wonderful gaming floor full of nostalgia.
